Illumiko Pte. Ltd. ("Illumiko", "we", "us", or "our") operates Shuttle, a product synchronization service for Etsy and Shopify merchants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our service.

By installing and using Shuttle, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Data we collect

Information you provide

When you install Shuttle, we collect information necessary to provide the service, including your Shopify store URL, Etsy shop details, and email address associated with your Shopify account.

Information from connected platforms

To provide synchronization services, Shuttle accesses data from your connected Etsy and Shopify accounts, including:

• Product listings, descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels
• Order details, customer names, and shipping information
• Review content, ratings, and reviewer information
• Shop settings, categories, and configuration data

This data is accessed only through official Etsy and Shopify APIs and is used exclusively to provide the synchronization features you've enabled.

Usage data

We collect anonymized usage data to improve our service, including feature usage patterns, error logs, and performance metrics. This data does not identify individual merchants or their customers.

How we use your data

We use the data we collect to:

• Synchronize products, inventory, orders, and reviews between your Etsy and Shopify stores
• Process and fulfill your subscription and any add-on purchases
• Send you service-related notifications (sync errors, stock alerts, review alerts)
• Provide customer support when you contact us
• Improve the reliability and performance of our service

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing and improving Shuttle.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your customers' personal information to third parties. Period.

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With Etsy and Shopify — as required to perform the synchronization operations you've configured
• With service providers — we use a limited number of third-party services to operate Shuttle (hosting, error monitoring, email delivery). These providers process data only on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations
• When required by law — we may disclose information if required by a valid legal process

Data storage & security

Your data is stored on servers managed by our hosting provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls.

Sync history and operational logs are retained for 60 days. Product, order, and review data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 60 days.

Third-party services

Shuttle integrates with the following third-party services to operate:

• Shopify — for Shopify store access and billing (governed by Shopify's Privacy Policy)
• Etsy — for Etsy shop access (governed by Etsy's Privacy Policy)
• Intercom — for customer support communication
• Sentry — for error monitoring and diagnostics
• Loops — for service email delivery

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct your data — update or fix inaccurate information
• Delete your data — request permanent deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data — receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent — uninstall Shuttle at any time to revoke API access to your stores

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

We process your information to fulfill contracts with you and to pursue legitimate business interests as described in this policy. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA, including Singapore. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

Cookies

Shuttle's embedded application within Shopify uses session cookies required for authentication and functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies within the application.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Shuttle dashboard or via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised.
