Acceptance of terms

By installing, accessing, or using Shuttle ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Shuttle is operated by Illumiko Pte. Ltd. ("Illumiko", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Singapore.

If you are using Shuttle on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

Service description

Shuttle is a product synchronization service that connects Etsy and Shopify stores. The Service enables merchants to sync products, inventory, orders, and reviews between these platforms. Shuttle operates as a Shopify application and accesses Etsy through its official API.

The specific features available to you depend on your subscription plan. Feature availability and plan details are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

Your account

Your Shuttle account is created automatically when you install the application from the Shopify App Store. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your connected Shopify and Etsy accounts.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when configuring the Service
  • Not share account access with unauthorized parties
  • Notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

Subscriptions & billing

Plans and pricing

Shuttle is offered through subscription plans billed through the Shopify App Store. Pricing, features, and plan details are listed on our pricing page and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

Free trial

New merchants receive a 14-day free trial with access to all features, subject to fair usage limits. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, you must select a paid plan to continue using the Service.

Add-on purchases

Certain features, such as AI Discovery credits, may be available as one-time add-on purchases through the Shopify App Store. These purchases are non-refundable once the credits have been used.

Refunds

Subscription charges are handled through Shopify's billing system. We stand behind the Service, but understand it may not work perfectly for everyone. If you are unable to use the core features of Shuttle, we will consider issuing a credit refund subject to the following conditions:

  • The request is made within 30 days of the original purchase
  • The issue relates to core functionality of the Service, not third-party app conflicts or theme incompatibilities
  • You have contacted our support team and given us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue

Refunds are issued as Shopify account credits, as required by Shopify's billing system. Refund requests are evaluated at our discretion. Contact us if you believe a charge was made in error.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit malicious code or interfere with other merchants' use of the Service
  • Exceed reasonable usage patterns that could degrade the Service for other merchants
  • Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or collect data beyond what is necessary for your own store operations
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties

Intellectual property

Shuttle, including its code, design, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Illumiko Pte. Ltd. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain full ownership of your product listings, images, descriptions, reviews, and all other content from your Etsy and Shopify stores. We claim no ownership over your content. The Service processes your content solely to provide the synchronization features you've enabled.

Platform API usage

Shuttle accesses Etsy and Shopify through their official APIs. Your use of Shuttle is also subject to:

API rate limits, data availability, and feature support are determined by the respective platforms. Changes to Etsy's or Shopify's APIs may affect Shuttle's functionality. We work to adapt to API changes promptly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted compatibility.

Data handling

How we collect, use, and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you also agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Shuttle complies with applicable data protection regulations in your jurisdiction, including how your customers' data is handled across platforms.

Support

Support is available to merchants with an active paid subscription or during the free trial period. We provide support through in-app chat and email.

While we strive to respond promptly, we do not guarantee specific response times. Support is provided for as long as Shuttle is actively maintained. Should Shuttle or the underlying platform APIs (Etsy or Shopify) cease active development, our obligation to provide support may end.

Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (we aim to provide advance notice)
  • Unscheduled outages or emergency maintenance
  • Issues with Etsy's or Shopify's APIs or infrastructure
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

We are not liable for any losses resulting from temporary unavailability of the Service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Illumiko Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service syncs data between platforms as instructed by your configuration. We are not responsible for incorrect configurations, unintended data overwrites resulting from user-configured settings, or discrepancies caused by third-party platform limitations.

Due to the variety of Shopify apps, themes, and add-ons available, we do not guarantee that Shuttle will function without conflict alongside all third-party software. We are not liable for issues arising from incompatibilities with other applications installed on your store. Should conflicts occur, we may provide support at our discretion.

Termination

By you

You may uninstall Shuttle from your Shopify store at any time. Uninstalling the application cancels your subscription and revokes Shuttle's access to your stores. Your synced data remains on both platforms as-is; Shuttle does not modify or remove data upon uninstallation.

By us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior toward our support team, or use the Service in a way that could harm other merchants or the Service itself. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking such action, except in cases requiring immediate action.

Effect of termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your account data within 60 days, unless retention is required by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Shuttle dashboard or via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may uninstall Shuttle before the changes take effect.
